ROAD TO NOBU: THE UNTOLD STORIES

On the road to establishing Southeast Asia’s first Nobu Residences, the ambitious team at Nobu Danang gathered for an exclusive workshop in Bangkok, Thailand. Designed to ignite their understanding of the globally celebrated Nobu brand, the event combined high-level insights with a dose of unexpected challenge, proving that in branded real estates, storytelling reigns supreme.

The workshop featured experienced industry professionals, each bringing targeted expertise to the table. In ‘When Luxury Real Estate Tells a Brand Story’, Mr Leong Boon Hoe, Founder and CEO of Arcadia Consulting, and Mr Jack Liew, Senior Vice President of Arcadia Consulting, broke down the essentials of brand-driven real estate. In a world where luxury is abundant, it is the compelling narrative that distinguishes a property apart.

Building on this foundation, ‘NOBU: Behind the Glory’ offered a look into the inner workings of Nobu Hospitality. The panel included Mr Lee Lin, Nobu’s Regional Director for APAC; Mr Andrew Bozoki, Executive Chef; and Ms Leila Shina, General Manager of Nobu Bangkok. They provided a pragmatic view of what it takes to maintain Nobu’s reputation, from operational excellence to innovative dining experiences. 

One of the day’s standout sessions, ‘NOBU: Untold Stories’, featured Mr Vo Thanh Lam, General Director of Viet Capital Real Estate who shared critical insights into Nobu’s brand philosophy. Emphasizing the importance of understanding affluent buyers’ motivations, Mr Lam discussed how deeply personalized service and strategic customer engagement are vital to capturing and maintaining interest in high-value real estate projects.

True to Nobu’s ethos of excellence, the workshop also included dynamic, hands-on activities designed to challenge and refine the skills of the “Nobu Firers,” a group of specially trained Nobu Danang ambassadors. These practical exercises pushed participants to apply their new knowledge immediately, from simulating high-stakes sales pitches to navigating complex client scenarios. This carefully curated workshop was both pragmatic and ambitious, giving the team an actionable roadmap for bringing Nobu’s vision to life in the region.
