Key projects include the second phase of the 12 North-South Expressway component projects, three East-West axial expressways, two belt roads, and the Long Thanh International Airport.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>NOI BAI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT&#8217;S T2 TERMINAL EXPANSION<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">In May 19, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended the groundbreaking ceremony for Package No. 12, which involves the construction, supply, and installation of equipment for the expansion of Noi Bai International Airport&#8217;s T2 international passenger terminal. As the ultimate gateway to the capital city, it frequently hosts international delegations and heads of state. According to the 2021-2030 master plan for national airport development, Noi Bai International Airport aims to accommodate 60 million passengers annually by 2030, and 100 million by 2050. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>MAI DICH BRIDGES<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\" style=\"color: #000000;\">In early May 2024, two urban bridges at Mai Dich intersection were officially opened to traffic as part of the Mai Dich-Nam Thang Long-Hanoi Belt Road No. 3 viaduct project. This initiative aims to alleviate traffic congestion in Hanoi\u2019s vibrant west side, ensuring the promotion of trade and smoother transport of passengers and goods between the city center and northern areas.
